Fenrir gets back to his feet. He takes sometime to recover from the last attack. Meanwhile, he keeps focused at the monster to find out some weakness he can exploit.

[Dex(Vegeta)] Vegeta takes flight and charges a ranged attack. [Con(Fenrir)] Fenrir gets back to its feet and [Will(Fenrir)] focus in the movements of the render. The render closely observes Vegeta in mid air, [Per(Fenrir)] confused of what will happen next.

[Dex(Vegeta)] Vegeta unleashes his [Con/Wll(Vegeta)] full charged Big Bang technique on the confused grey render. It uses his forearms to block and fully takes the attack without moving a single millimetre. The attack damages only slightly the hardened skin of its forearms.

[Int/Per(Fenrir)] The reason why the beast don't takes the offensive begins to wander Fenrir's mind. After Vegeta's last attack, Fenrir notices a round white rock under the Render. [Int(Fenrir)] He quickly recognizes it has an egg.

Vegeta's attack has gained time for Fenrir to recover a little from the early attack (+1 Con) .

Fenrir throws a quick shout at Vegeta:

"Vegeta wait!!!!! Don't Attack anymore!!!!!" he screamed "She is only protecting her egg." Then he explains more calmly: "If we leave, she won't chase us... possibly...."

Vegeta hears fenrir but it pride talks louder, he began to charge its most powerful attack (Final Flash) at maximum capacity.
while shouting to fenrir "i have a score to settle with this best, get back this won't be pretty"

Fenrir tries to calm down Vegeta unsuccessfully. Pride makes Vegeta prove that he can beat anything he encounters in his way. [Con/Wll(Vegeta)] He starts to charge his final attack to end the mother life along with her egg.

After the last attack, the female screams louder, higher and longer than before. The scream is so loud that hurts the sensible audition of Fenrir (-1 Per). [Wll(Vegeta)] Vegeta keeps charging his attack independently of the render's scream.

Fenrir exchanges to its black cat form and runs away from the explosion radius.

[Int/Wll(Fenrir)] Fenrir morphs to a black little cat [Dex(Fenrir)] and finds refuge in the nearby trees restoring a little more of his health (+1 Con).
The Render mother notices the danger Vegeta poses. She grab a nearby rock and throw it at Vegeta with all his might. [Dex(Vegeta)] But it is ineffective. Vegeta has already fully charged his Final Flash technique, which he shoots before getting hit. Final Flash hits both the rock (and destroying it) and the Grey Render.

Fenrir comes out of hiding and changes to his werewolf form. He moves to the powerless female Render worried about the new-born's egg.

After Vegeta's merciless attack on the mother and her eggchild, both observe the defenceless render. [Per(Fenrir)]Fenrir searches for the egg and finds it intact within his mother's arms. Fenrir seems relieved that not the render or er egg died in the battle, but the unnecessary actions of Vegeta leave some fear in Fenrir's heart. (-1 Wll)

The grey render doesn't pose anymore threat. [Per(Fenrir)] It is possible that she will never fully recover from the wounds Vegeta's Final Flash inflicted upon her. The Golden Stag has long gone, and it will be hard to track now. Before the fight, it ran to East and that is the only clue they have.

Once he secures the egg so that other animals will pray on it. Fenrir takes a long breath and faces Vegera wary:

"This creature..." He focus on the hunt. "It leaves no track so there is no meaning in following it on the ground. It is better if we hunt for it in the air. You can fly, can you?"

Then Fenrir takes the shape of a brown eagle [Eagle Form] and flies to the East.

There is no time to lose. After a small rest (+1 Con), Fenrir, in the form of a eagle, and Vegeta takes flight to the East part of Moonleaf in search of his running pray. Fenrir eating began to recovered from the dying render scream (+1 Per).

The sun begins to set, and this quest seems harder and harder. [Per(Fenrir)] In the last minutes of sunlight, Fenrir sights the Golden Stag in a small opening in the woods. The Stag intercepts the team intentions from afar and immediately hides in a old and abandoned building. [Int(Fenrir)]Fenrir and Vegeta land near the old crypt. Strangely, there are many holes on the ground around the entrance. [Per(Fenrir)] Stone fragments that are spread on the site were once graves, and the empty holes once contained the bodies of the diseased. [Int/Per(Fenrir)] The earth around the holes was moved very recently. This could not the work of hungry animals.

The sun is about to set. It seems there is no light inside the old crypt but some torches are dropped near the entrance. The only thing missing is something to lit the torches.

Vegeta catch a torch and lightning it with the use of a single rapid-fire energy ball

Fenrir changes to his Werewolf Form once again.

Elemental magic is not Fenrir speciality, but he is extremely skilful with transmutation spells. He manipulates the sodium ions within the torch head and transmute them into metallic sodium. Then he concentrates the water within the air in the top of the torch igniting the sodium coat and the torch itself.

The he enters the crypt using the torch light to scout the area.

[Con(Vegeta)] Vegeta shoots a energy ball at the wet head of the old torch, effectively breaking it in small pieces. [Int(Fenrir)] On the other side the sodium manipulation works wonderfully for Fenrir, lighting the torch on the spot.

The Crypt seems old and without any light source on the inside. Our adventurers would be unable to transverse it if not for the torch's light. [Per(Fenrir)] Even with distinct marks of abandonment and moss in the walls, there is a slight smell of fresh blood coming from inside. [Int(Fenrir)] Maybe some kind of predator has made his den out of the crypt.

Fenrir gives his torch to Vegeta and lights another torch from the ground. Then he enters the crypt tracking any beasts that lives in the crypt, inclusive the Gold Stag.

Vegeta and Fenrir entered the dark and cold corridors of the old crypt. At the entrance, stairs took the duo down into the underground.
After some walking they arrived to the antechamber.

The Antechamber was small and supported by four pillars on the centre. The room is completely dark and the light of the torches is limited. Even so, it is able to somewhat illuminate the entire room. Opposite to the entrance there is another small corridor, [Per(Fenrir)] in which is possible to watch a small golden glow at its deeps.

Some holes on the walls are filled with humanoid bones and have some inscription above them. [Int(Fenrir)] Fenrir easily recognizes the inscription as elven family names. Each resting place has a different family inscription, suggesting that each one belongs to a specific group of people.

[Per(Vegeta)] Vegeta examines one of the bone pits on the crypt. He notices bones and skulls of various sizes. There is even the bones of some infants mixed together with the others. There seems to be no real difference between the many family pits others than the inscription and number of bones.

While Vegeta observes the remaining of the dead, Fenrir press forward inside the crypt. [Dex(Fenrir)]Silent like a preying wolf, he move extremely silently, step after step. Soon after entering the new part of the elven construction he observes the source of the glow. The elusive Golden Stag. There he stand at the end of the corridor, surrounded by three walls and the only escape route is trough Fenrir. Fenrir should be able to easily dispatch of the prey alone in this situation. But the prey has shown some impressive and unexpected skills. Even not trusting Vegeta completely, he has also shown impressive skill and power, and could be useful if the anything should happen. Thinking in his self preservation, Fenrir makes signal to Vegeta and waits for him to work together in subjugating the beast.
